Willa Teresa Belcher

Willa T. Belcher died unexpectedly, July 10, 2023, at Raleigh General Hospital. She was born March 13, 1955 in Beckley, WV; the daughter of Georgia O’Neal and Dennis O’Neal. She married her soul mate, James Belcher on January 6, 1984,

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dennis O’Neal, and her sisters, Hope Garretson and Patsy Terry.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jim Belcher; daughters, Melissa Schagat and husband, Klaus of Ghent, Denise Buckley and husband, Juddie of Grandview; son, James Belcher of Ghent; two grandchildren, Jimmy Petrey and Emily Petrey; several nieces, nephews; and friends.

Services to celebrate the life of Willa T. Belcher will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastors Jeff Barton and Juddie Buckley officiating. Following the services she will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Oak Hill.

Friends may gather with the family from 1:00PM until time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
