Mrs. Wilma L Green

Wilma Lucille "MawMaw" Green formerly of Glen Morgan, a resident of Quarry Manor of Charleston WV, passed away with the services of Hospice in Hubbard House, after 11 years of Alzheimer's. Born April 5, 1927, in Frankfort, KY, she was the daughter of Roy and Millie Sharpe Davidson. Mrs. Green was a homemaker, animal lover, and was affectionately known as "Mawmaw." Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband Henry Ford Green, "Ray," 3 sons; Gary Davidson, Roger Green, and Michael Green, also 3 brothers; Wylie Davidson, Roy Davidson, and Donald Davidson, including 1 sister Joanne, and a grandson Gary Williams. Survivors include, 1 brother Eudell Davidson of Corpis Christi Texas, 4 granddaughters; Dr. Deborah Chadwick (Todd), Beth Ann Plumley (James), Jennifer Green-Abenanti (Gregg), and Lisa McCloud (Paul Stalnaker), and grandson Roger Green. Along with 4 great-grandchildren; Nicole Ann Plumley, Baylee McCloud, Carrie Chadwick, and David Chadwick. A special daughter in law Connie Green. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00pm Thursday October 29, 2015 in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Prosperity WV. Following the service she will be laid to rest beside her husband, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will gather with friends from 12-2, Thursday at the funeral home.
