Alverta Elizabeth "Bert" Bohnenstengel (Porter), age 97, of Millsboro, Delaware passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Albert G. Bohnenstengel Jr.; devoted mother of Karl Bohnenstengel and his wife Sandra; loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by her extended family members and friends.
Bert will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A visitation for Bert will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Where a Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM. Followed by interment at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Rd, Rosedale, MD 21206.
