Anna Mary Bavett

On August 13, 2017, Anna Mary Bavett (nee Sciuto); beloved wife of the late Joseph Bavett, Sr.; devoted mother of Diane Sullivan and her husband Mike, Joseph, Jr., Linda, and Steven Bavett; loving grandmother of Angela Kachura and her husband Joshua, David Myers, Jr. and his wife Stephanie, Rachelle Pickens and her husband Bryan, Matthew Bavett, and the late Daniel Sullivan; dear great-grandmother of Kellan, Hudson, and Logan Kachura, Gregory Myers, Bryan, Jr., Isabella, and Aubrianna Pickens; cherished sister of Nancy Iacoboni and her late husband Tony, the late Nino Sciuto, Agnes Klunk and her husband James, Josie Bowman and her husband Charlie, and Alfred Sciuto and his wife Alice. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anna graduated from Catholic High in 1951, after she then met her husband Joe and was married. She worked at Johns Hopkins in administration; she was a Regional Manager for Sarah Coventry Inc., Past President of B&E Communications, and worked in sales for Health Bridge Chiropractic. Anna was a long time member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Bel Air Post #39. She was very proud of her Sicilian Heritage, and loved her family, friends, food and the beach very much.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am at St. Mark Catholic Church. Interment Highview Memorial Gardens.
