On October 13, 2022 Anna Margaret Humphreys (nee Nickol) passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Millard L. Humphreys, Sr.; devoted mother of Millard L. Humphreys, Jr., Edward M. Humphreys, and Wm. Lee Humphreys; cherished grandmother of Megan Humphreys Hershorin, Molly Humphreys, Jennifer Humphreys McGowan, Katelyn Humphreys, Matthew Humphreys, Emalie Humphreys, and Samuel Humphreys; loving great-grandmother of Sloane Hershorin, Phillip McGowan, and Lucas and Michael Humphreys. She was preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Nellie Nickol and her brother Giffen Nickol.
Anna loved playing bingo and was called the “Queen of Bingo”. She was devoted to her family and was known as the family CEO. She would spend time doing cross stitching, watching birds (always had a bird feeder in her yard), and traveling. Anna was dedicated to her Church and the members of Christ Church of Forest Hill.
A graveside service will be held at Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville, MD on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks those who might wish to honor and celebrate her life and friendship, that a contribution in her honor be made to Christ Church of Forest Hill, PO Box 215, Forest Hill, MD 21050.
