Clarence "Reds" Edward Faries

On Saturday, December 29, 2018, Clarence E. “Reds” Faries, age 95 passed away while surrounded by his daughters and son-in-law, at his home in Darlington, MD. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and the Korean War.

Beloved husband of the late Mildred L. Faries (nee O’Bryan); loving father of Patricia Keller, Deborah Pineda and her husband Adrian; cherished grandfather of Jessica and Alan Pineda; great-grandfather of five; dear brother of Ruth Fowler and Dorothy Hall. Preceded in death by his parents Frank Fletcher Faries and Bessie Lee Gibbs; brothers Charles Louis Faries, Frank Fletcher Faries, Robert “Sonny” Faries; and sisters Glenna Johnson, Lorene Meador, Edith Faries, and Lois Harrison.

The family is grateful for the compassionate care provided by Donna and John of Amedisys Home Health and Hospice Care.

Family and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at 11 am. Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greyhound Pet Adoption Maryland at P.O.
