Daryl W. Ritter, 51, of Whiteford, MD., passed away at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD on December 10, 2016. He was born on December 6, 1965. Daryl is survived by his best friend and brother, Gary Curry of Darlington, MD and his adopted parents, Frank and Jackie Curry of Darlington, MD., sisters Vicki Smith of Darlington, MD., and Brenda Strong of Richland, NY., brothers Sam Curry of Street, MD and Charlie Curry of Fawn Grove, PA. Daryl is predeceased by his mother Carol Freeberger Ritter and younger brother Jimmy Ritter of Dundalk, MD., he is also survived by his father Bill Ritter.
Daryl was an employee with Harford County Public Schools and worked at the North Harford Middle School. He was a city boy turned country. He loved living in the country with his cat, Smokey. He also enjoyed reading his Mopar magazine, building model cars and swimming.
Donations can be made in his memory to the National Children's Cancer Society or the SPCA of Maryland.
