On January 18, 2016, Ellwood James Scharfe, Jr. "Jim" passed away. He was the son of the late Ellwood James Scharfe, Sr. and late Ruth May (Ellington) Scharfe he was the beloved husband of Anna Marie (Stevens) Scharfe, devoted father of Judi Mistretta and her spouse Sue VanHouten, Jennifer Hine and her spouse Nate, Jill Schadty and her spouse Will. He is also survived by his sister Deborah Lynn Clark and her husband Tim and his brother the late Ralph Martin Scharfe. He was the dear uncle of Jenna Renee Bonner and great uncle of Eli and Nora. He was the dear grandfather of Brittany, Joe, John, Gabby, Sammi, Jack, Lauren, Krystle and Shannon and great grandfather of Carter,Victoria, Ryder, Cami and Annarose.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Road ( at Rte 24) on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm; where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 am with interment to follow at the Highview Memorial Gardens.
