On December 20, 2019, Ernest Memphis, beloved husband of the late Victoria L. Memphis, devoted father of the late William (Billy) E. Memphis, beloved son of the late William Charles and Marie Rose Memphis, cousin of Gus Gereny, brother-in-law of Catherine Irene Latgis and Marina and Paul Trossbach, friend and neighbor to Karl and Sandra Bohnenstengel. Also survived by his extended family members and friends.
Relative and friends will gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc., 610 West MacPhail Road, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Sunday, December 22, 2019, from 4 PM – 8 PM, with a Trisagion service at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Memphis will lie in state on Monday, December 23, 2019, from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, with a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Mortgage Fund, 2504 Cub Hill Road, Baltimore, MD 21234.
