Harvey Wilson Webb

Harvey Wilson Webb, age 91, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Harvey was born May 21, 1931. Beloved husband of the late Laura Christine Webb. Devoted father of C. Jane Akers & her husband Keith, Harvey "Glenn" Webb & his wife Sandra. Loving grandfather of Brian Akers & his wife Tiffany, Ashley Shutt & her husband Ryan, and Holly Webb & her fiance' Anthony. Dear great-grandfather of Macy, Enzo, and Cecilia.

Harvey was born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina and moved to Maryland to work at Glenn L. Martin Company building tools and aircraft. He retired from Westinghouse in Hunt Valley. Harvey enjoyed traveling the country with his beloved wife Chris, and visited nearly every state in the U.S.

He was a gifted craftsman and participated in the restoration of the Eastern Aircraft TBM-3 Avenger, Grumman's first torpedo aircraft which is now displayed at the Mid Atlantic Museum in Reading, PA.

Later in life he set up a little workshop at Harford Air Services where he built such things as replacement parts for airplanes, clocks, and one of a kind tools. He never stopped learning and used his skills and knowledge to help others. Exercise was important to him and he visited the gym regularly. He danced and jogged well into his 80's.

He loved his family and never let a birthday or anniversary pass without sending a card. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
