To John's Family,

John was a quiet gentle man filled with kindness who never had an unkind word. I first met John when he worked at Sander's Ice Cream store, dipping up homemade ice cream with my brother Glenn. John and Glenn shared a special friendship for many years. He was loved my his family and friends and will be missed. May he rest in peace.

To his family, so sorry for your loss. May the sorrow you feel today be replaced by happy memories of John.

Sincerely,

Carol (Gitschier) Allen

I have known John and Livey ever since we moved into the Dear Spring community. John and I had a wonderful friendship. We would get together and plan landscapeing for our development, and also published a landscapeing news letter monthly. He was always full of life, and loved to laugh at my jokes. We would talk about the Lord Jesus, and the promises of God. I pray that John is, at this very moment, walking the streets of gold with the arm of Jesus around his shoulder.

I have known John since high school when we both worked at Sander's Ice Cream Store in Cromwell Valley. We shared a love of antique cars and could talk for hours about them. John, as a master gardener, gave me many tips in that area as well. John was quite the fisherman and I'm really going to miss our outings. In all the years I've known John, I never heard him raise his voice. His was truly a Gentleman. I pray that God watches over Livie and her Family during this difficult time. We have another Angel in Heaven to pray for us. Love always, Glenn and Gail Gitschier.

Although I did not know John , I became friends with Livie by teaching Faith Formation with her at St. Ignatius Church. May you now rest in the arms of Jesus at this time, John. May God give comfort to Livie and her family at this difficult time. Love. Kim & Bill Dignan
