Joseph William Aughinbaugh, age 68, of Essex, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Beloved son of the late Donald William Aughinbaugh, and Anna Catherine Aughinbaugh (nee Palumbo); loving brother of Nora Reedy and her late husband William Reedy, Maryanna Aughinbaugh, and the late Ronald and Daniel Aughinbaugh; dear uncle of Keith Reedy and his wife Mary, Adelina Aughinbaugh, and Eric Reedy; great uncle of Alexis, Savannah, and Keith Reedy, Jr. Also survived by a loving extended family and many friends.
A visitation for Joseph will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Saint Mark Roman Catholic Church, 2407 Laurel Brook Rd, Fallston, MD 21047. Interment will follow at Highview Memorial Gardens, 3433 Fallston Rd, Fallston, MD 21047.
