Lila Sherie Pomfrey

Born November 26, 1946 in Riverdale, MD. Third child of Raymond and Alise McCutchen. Sibling of Mickey McCutchen and Lynn McCutchen Griffis. Married on April 10, 1971 to Vernon Randy Pomfrey Sr.. Lived in PG, AA, and Harford counties. Loved to be in church, play piano, and help Jennifer with getting things ready for the homeless and less fortunate. During her life she taught Kindergarten, pre-school, art and phys ed. She also dabbled as an advertising manager to help keep the junk mail flowing!

She is survived by her Son, Randy Pomfrey and his wife Jennifer, and their children Jared, Jordan, and Morgan. Her dog Pickles is staying with Randy and Jennifer and their dogs Tommy and Koda. And will be visited often by Jared’s dogs Willy and Ryker. She enjoyed her time on Willrich circle with her new friends as well as keeping in touch with all of the friends she’s made along the way.

She will join her husband in heaven along with her mom and dad. We know that through the love of Jesus that she is in heaven with him today.

A visitation for Lila will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Rd., Crownsville, MD 21032.
