Lloyd Ray Roberts

On August 9, 2021, Lloyd Ray Roberts, age 70, of Bel Air, Maryland, peacefully passed away at the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was the son of Barbara Roberts and the late Roy G. Roberts and the beloved husband of Marjorie Baus Roberts for 46 years. He was the devoted father of Rebecca (Becky) Marshall and her husband, Chad Marshall, and grandfather to Rachel, Megan, and Landon. He was the brother of Ken Roberts and his wife Kathy, and sisters Eileen Jacobson and her husband Harry, Rhonda Morris and her husband Lester and their families. His nieces and nephews are Kirk Jacobson; Kate Mulenga along with her husband Jayson and son Ian; and Michael Morris, brother of the late Lindsey Morris, along with his wife Rachael and sons Luke and Maddox.

After 41 years of service as a civil employee for the Department of the Army, Lloyd made the most of his retirement spending time with those he loved. He loved his family and was extremely giving to all. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 5120 Harrison Rd., Fredericksburg, VA 22408 on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church at the above address.
