

Lorraine Louise Roeber passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct 26, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Lorraine was born in Baltimore, Maryland, August 13, 1930. Lorraine married, at 17, the love of her life, Charles F. Roeber, and remained married for 49 years until his passing in 1997. Lorraine has joined him, along with her 11 siblings, in heaven.
Lorraine enjoyed life to the fullest, dedicating her life to her family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who may have been in need of her caring and loving nature. She loved butterflies and always thought that when graced by one’s presence, she was being visited by her deceased husband, whom she missed greatly. Lorraine was lucky to have known 7 Great Grandchildren, keeping up with all of their accomplishments and visiting with them frequently. They will always know her love.
Lorraine is survived by daughter, Deborah Lee Kraft and husband, Gordan Kraft; daughter, Sharon Katherine Wilson and significant other, Tony Gasper; Grandchildren, Christopher Charles Wilson, wife Jillian Wilson, and Tara Evans Christian; Step-Grandchildren, Gregory Kraft, wife Laura Kraft, and children; Ashlee Biggs, husband Michael Biggs, and children; Great Grandchildren, Rileigh Wilson, Brennan Wilson, Hannah Christian, Elizabeth Christian, Thomas Christian, Samuel Christian, and Seth Christian.
Viewing services will be held Sunday, October 29th , 3-5pm and 7-9pm, at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 West Macphail Rd., Bel Air, MD 21014; where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Bel Air Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to The American Parkinson Disease Association, www.apdaparkinson.org.
