On March 29th, 2026 Mary Lou Pizanis (nee Elias) beloved wife of the late Manuel Pizanis; devoted mother of Michael Pizanis and his wife Cathy Pizanis, Linda Edwards and husband Gary; loving grandmother of Alex Edwards, Maria Edwards Chell and husband Zach, Manuel, Gabe, Anthony, and Costa Pizanis; dear sister of George Kacachos, Jeannette Teter and the late Louis Elias, Bessie Samuels, John Elias and Jordan Kacachos.
Friends and relatives are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air Inc. 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014 on Tuesday March 31st, 2026 from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. A trisagion service will be held at 6:00PM. Mary Lou Pizanis will lie in state at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 2504 Cub Hill Rd, Parkville, MD 21234 on Wednesday April 1st, 2026 from 10:00AM-10:30AM. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM with committal prayers to follow the service at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church Cemetery.
