Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me will live, even though he dies. And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26.
Mildred’s family is assured of this TRUTH.
On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Mildred A DiPietro (Haas) entered into her eternal home with the Lord. Millie, as she was known by family & friends was born to the late Raymond & Mary Haas (Schultz) on May 15, 1938. Millie was wife to her “Ton(y)” (Anthony M. DiPietro Jr. who predeceased her in May 2007). We are certain the heavenly reunion was joyous. Millie is also mother to Cindy (Cynthia) Spezia (Larry), Rosemary Holton (Mel), & Tony (Anthony) DiPietro III (Edie). Millie was also the proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren (John, Michelle, Mary, Stacey, Kristen, Anthony IV, & Teresa). She was also blessed abundantly to be great grandmother of 11 beautiful children. Millie was also sister to Edmund Haas who predeceased her. She will be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, & friends.
A visitation for Mildred will be held at St. Ignatius, Hickory Catholic Church, 533 E. Jarrettsville Rd., Forest Hill MD 21050 on Friday, July 25, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at which time a funeral mass will be celebrated (11:00 AM). Entombment will follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, 200 East Padonia Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
We appreciate that some of you may desire to honor Millie’s memory. Please consider a donation to one of the following organizations: Red Cross ( as Millie received many transfusions during her battle with AML) donations are able to be given online if that is easiest.
Samaritan’s Purse Texas Flash Flood Relief
Grace Centers of Hope, Pontiac, MI (homeless shelter offering education & housing)
As we gather together to remember & celebrate the life of Millie, let us do so with joy knowing that she has reached “home” & is rejoicing in the arms of Jesus. Wearing cheerful clothing is welcome. Her favorite colors were pink & mauve. Thank you in advance for your love & support.
