

He obtained his B.S. from St. Mary's University of San Antonio, Texas; Doctor of Medicine from University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School. He did his Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. He belonged to Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity at University of Texas Medical School.
Dr. Davidson was a beloved Pediatrician. He was admired and respected for his caring compassion and dedication to his patient's. He was greatly loved by his patient's, parents and co-workers.
He is survived by his beloved son Benjamin and step-daughter Savannah Deise, brother Steve Davidson, niece and nephew Laura and Christopher Davidson, numerous cousins, his cherished significant other Valerie Harbaugh and his treasured Pediatric "family" at UMMS St. Joseph Medical Center.
Dr. Davidson worked at numerous health care facilities- among them: JHH Student Health Wellness Center, Nighttime Pediatrics North and in 1996 joined the now UMMS St. Joseph Medical Center as a Pediatric Hospitalist. He also had and worked in several Private Practices.
He was a lover of sports and was an extremely passionate Ravens fan. His all time love was to watch his son, Ben play baseball. In the past he coached his son's baseball team and over the last several years was the score keeper and team physician for his son's teams the Bel Air Braves and this past year the Forest Hill Express. Music was also a passion of his and he enjoyed going to various concerts.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W. MacPhail Rd (at Rte 24) on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm; where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 pm. Interment services are private. In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up mail checks to 6305 Morningtime Lane, Columbia, MD 21044.
