

Patricia Monica Oakley, age 78 of Bel Air, MD passed away on Wednesday, February 25th, 2026. She was born on March 7, 1947 at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph Seiler of Lamont, IL and Mildred Carolyn Seiler from Nanticoke, Maryland. Patricia was the wife of John Alexander Oakley. They were married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Newark, Delaware on June 5, 1971.
Patricia grew up in Overlea, MD and attended St. Michael’s the Archangel School. She graduated from Parkville High School before moving with her family to Newark, Delaware.
Patricia graduated from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware with her Associate’s Degree in nursing. She worked for many years at Montebello Rehab in Baltimore as a charge nurse, before eventually moving to Kernan Hospital after they merged. She later worked at Jacob’s Well Assisted Living in Bel Air until she retired.
During retirement, Patricia became a loyal fan of NASCAR and cheered for Jeff Gordon and later Chase Elliott. She supported the Orioles and the Ravens. She loved watching Survivor and The Amazing Race and enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. In her younger years, she enjoyed sewing and made many clothes and Halloween costumes for her kids.
Patricia is survived by her husband John, her children Gerard Ezekiel Oakley (Debra), Zachary Embury Oakley, and Roxanne Carol Tiso (Eric), as well as her 5 grandchildren, Olivia Oakley Lansinger (Christian), Seiler Ezekiel Oakley, Payton Alexandra Oakley, Sophia Noelle Tiso, and Ian Francis Tiso.
She was predeceased by her sister Kathryn J. Seiler (d1944) and brother Gerard Joseph Seiler (d1950).
Visitations to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, March 2nd, 2026 at Schimunek Funeral Home (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014) with visitations from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 3rd at 10am at Saint Mark Roman Catholic Church (2407 Laurel Brook Rd, Fallston, MD 21047), followed by interment at Bel Air Memorial Gardens (809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014).
