Our family has so many fond memories of Peter, and are so very sad to have heard of his passing. We are sorry that were unable to personal deliver our condolences, since we just hear of your loss. We met Peter through Tom's sister Pam.  Pete was always fun to be around, we shared lots of laughs and lots of steamed crabs! It has been years since we have seen him but he continues to be in our thoughts and memories. God Bless you Peter Delong!

To Alice, Brian and Roger my deepest sympathies!! I just learned of this late last night. I had not seen Pete in many years but thought often I would try and contact him if he was still living in Bel Air or was still here locally. I remember many memorable outings with him in the early years when it seemed we (Pete and Roger) were together all the time. I just recently found a stash of pictures with all of us at different times when I was going through a box of old photographs I came across. They sure brought back a lot of memories. Pete will remain with us in our hearts and minds.

I was a neigbor of pete... i took care of his dogs nikki and elkie when he was in the hospital. I remember when i came to bring nikki and elkie back home and pete said "There she is! This is a mans house but there is only one special lady allowed in my man den!" I have known him since I was only 5 years old and i have been a deticated dog walker for him. I was there when elkie died of cancer and when sammy came to live in her new home. Sammy was able to sooth petes heart when his other dog died. I plan to attend tommorow to find out out where the beloved nikki is. If anyone knows, please email me at anime.to.turtles@gmail.com
