Roger Mucci

Born in The Bronx, NY, Roger is remembered for his strength, loyalty, courage and intelligence.

Roger served in the Army from 1966-1968 prior to enjoying an accomplished career in financial services as a Director of Operations. He worked at Goldman Sachs in NY until 1992 when he moved with his family to Maryland and earned his retirement from Legg Mason, Inc. in 2010. Roger had a wealth of knowledge and enjoyed mentoring many of his colleagues.

Roger had a profound love for his family and is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Fabiano) Mucci, and his adored children, Roger (Heidi) Mucci, Jennifer Mucci Stainbrook (the late Michael Stainbrook) and Janel (Anthony) Iorio. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Madelyn Mucci, Anthony Iorio and Gianna Iorio, and his step-grandson, Zachary Stainbrook. Roger also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Debra Curio, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Rose (Lorino) Mucci, his siblings, William (Sandy), Jospeh (Judy), Albert (Martha), Eugene (Adua), Ralph, Rosemarie Nobile (Angelo), and John Mucci, and siblings-in-law, Michael Fabiano and Steven Fabiano.

Roger was a competitive pool player who enjoyed coaching his son-in-law and loved going on cruises with his wife. The thing that Roger loved the most was spending time with his family, especially his wife whom he was happily married to for 57 years and was the love of his life.

Visitation will be held at Saint Ignatius Catholic Church, Hickory, 533 E Jarrettsville Rd, Maryland, MD 21050, US, on April 10, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Ignatius Catholic Church, Hickory from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Committal Service will follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, US, after the funeral mass.
