Sophie Mahoney

On January 25, 2021, Sophie Mahoney (nee Santarmes) passed away. She was the beloved wife, of 72 years, of Leo N. Mahoney, Sr.; devoted mother of Nickie C. Ruben and her husband Howard, Catherine J. Monto and her husband William, Michelle J. Lewellyn and her husband Kevin, Sr., Leo N. Mahoney, Jr. and his wife Lisa, and Zachary A. Mahoney and his wife Missy. Sophie is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sophie’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York RD, Ste. D, Timonium, MD 21093, or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
