Tim was one of the nicest and honest guys I ever met. I remember bar hoping with him many years ago; watching him perform  at the theatre, and having some literary discussions why working together at the law offices of Peter G Angelos. I am sorry I can't attend his celebration of life but my heart and that of my wife, Adriana are with his beautiful family and friends. I also remember this phrase from somewhere "I will live in the memory the time that those that really loved me remember me" Rest in peace Tim
 

 Whether talking politics, religion, philosophy or pedestrian gossip, we always heard each other out and had many a laugh both together, and at each other's expense. I relied on Tim's wit, counsel and humor in our work life and freewheeling happy hours to keep my sanity during long, difficult and stressful times. I can't imagine how I would've survived intact without knowing there was a happy hour with Tim at the end of my week.Throughout the entirety of the time I knew Tim there was always one constant: his devotion to and delight with Marcia, Kate and Megan. They were constantly on his mind and gave him joy and pride on a daily basis. Starting as a brand-new father myself, when I met Tim, there was no better model for me to emulate.Tim had a spark and he could ignite a room with hilarity just by letting loose one of his hearty laughs. He was a storyteller, often in accent, who delighted his listeners almost as much as himself. I was lucky enough to hear so many of his stories, some more than once. He shared with me his life stories, his funny stories, his experience, his wisdom and he provided me with much-needed restraint and perspective on too many occasions for me to admit to. Tim was my editor, the person who pushed me beyond where I wanted to go, and always a wordsmith – that forced me to the dictionary and expanded my vocabulary just to keep up with him. When he really wanted to get to me, he would provide me with his Latin lexicon of Proverbs. Always guaranteed to bait the response out of me he was looking for. Always to both our delight. I would not be the attorney, or person, I am without Tim's generous support, keen insight and mischievous sense of humor. There has not been a day that has gone by that I don't smile to myself thinking what Tim would say in the situation in front of me; or what a delighted reaction he would have to something I have just done. I am reminded constantly of how lucky I've been to have Tim in my life as long as I did.

I also had the pleasure of working with Tim at the Law Offices of Peter T. Nicholl for many, many years.  We could always count on him to help with any issue that arose.  He was so pleasant and so very smart.  His big booming laugh would fill the office.  Tim will be missed and my thoughts and love go out to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Tim at both Peter Angelos and Peter Nicholl's office. I saw him perform in plays and shared happy hours with him.  Worked with him closely and went through ups and downs of work and shared ups and downs of life.  Of all the memories of Tim, my fondest will always be his laugh. At one time our offices were next to each other.  I would be having a terrible day and be in a rotten mood  and then I would hear Tim laugh, with that infectious laugh, and I would smile. You couldn't help it!!  I know he will be making other souls smile in heaven!! I have become a better person by knowing him.  Prayers to all of his family. 

Remember Tim and Tom being friends with my brother Joe growing up, being younger they were always nicer than most of his friends to the little guy in the yard..Rest in peace, prayers for his wife and children and his brothers

I did no know Tim as his brother Michael was in the choir at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church.  I am sorry to the whole family for their loss and know that all of you will be in my prayers.  My heart goes out to you Michael as I have also lost my brother’s .  God be with all of you in this sad time.

I knew Tim for almost 20 years, working with him at the Law Offices of Peter T. Nicholl.  Tim was one of the smartest lawyers that it was ever my pleasure to work with.  He was always the first one that I'd go to with any questions about bankruptcy trusts, and other knotty problems relating to asbestos litigation--and he always had an answer.  More important, he was one of the nicest, kindest and just most decent people that I've ever known--period.  I always enjoyed when he came to the Virginia office, going out to lunch with him and talking about all kinds of stuff.  He constantly surprised me with stories of the places he'd been and things that he'd done.  I have missed him since he retired.

Tim passed way too early.  It's true: only the good die young.

I worked with Tim at the law office of Peter T. Nicholl for many years.  He was always fun to be around and a great co-worker.  One day Tim came to work for a trial and several of us noticed that he had on Santa socks.  It was no where near Christmas and we all wondered if someone should tell him.  Finally we got up the nerve to tell him and his response was they are socks and they match and I just pull a pair out and put them on.  We all though that was a great response.  Another time when my father was nearing the end of Alzheimers and had gotten somewhat aggressive with my mom Tim was in the Bill's office when I was talking to him about it.  Later on when my dad passed Tim and Marcia graciously donated money to House of Ruth in my fathers name.  That really touched my heart.  My mom passed away recently and I feel for Marcia and their children as the pain is overwhelming at time and you heart is broken.  R.I.P.. Tim.  Sending love, hugs and prayers to Marcia and the family.

So sorry to hear about Tim’s passing.  St. Anthony’s Class of 1965 has had mini reunions over the years, and we’ll definitely miss Tim joining us. Sending hugs to Marcia & Tom.

I remember bringing a dessert to one of Aunt Marcia's Thanksgiving feasts... I proudly presented my homemade Indian pudding to the family and Uncle Tim said "Was it still steaming when you picked it up?" 

Saw Tim's notice while reading the Sun online up here in Buffalo;  was a year behind him at St. Pauls, remember him giving me lifts home in his Rambler, and singing Gary Puckett songs out of key;  very good athlete and a leader on the soccer field and basketball court, but an even better person off them.

RIP Tim.

Tim was a huge blessing for me when I started working for the Law Offices of Peter Nicholl.  He taught me so much in this field.  I came in as someone with no experience, however he was patient, kind and incredibly funny.  We got in so much trouble for laughing all the time.  So many things you have taught me over those years will forever be cherished.  No one will ever replace you here Tim.
Praying for the family.  He will be missed, however always remembered. 

I remember so many times over our years together that Tim was always there for me.
 Like the time I got sick just in time for Xmas break my freshman year in high school and I had to stay in bed. Tim got the chess set and we played for hours everyday. Tom played too. So many times you were there for me and all of us. My loving brother I miss you so much. 

Our family is keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. What an amazing and loving man your dad was Kate and what a remarkable life. We feel so lucky that we got to know him over the years. Praying that you and your family find comfort in the memory of him and in knowing others are missing him too. 

I always looked up to Mr. Tim as I was growing up. He was a truly kind, articulate, and generous man. 
Fun times in the Hogan’s back yard make up some of my fondest teenage memories. 
Mr. Tim was always smiling and sharing a cool or funny story. I liked talking to him about movies he had seen or books he had read.
Miss Marcia, Katie, and Megan, you are in our thoughts and prayers.  God bless.

So many memories flood our hearts. Tim and Marcia shared their daughters, extended families' , dogs, and friends with us for over 30+ years. Mike actually served as a reference for their rescue dog (What were Marcia and Tim thinking?). Their youngest, Megan paved the way for our oldest to meet friends in Bel Air when we moved here a year after them; their oldest, Kate shared endless dog adventures with us. Over the years we came to know their extended families and what a gift that was and remains. Tim and my Mike had trademark laughs which no one could ignore.They were always up to no good! And good Lord, St. Patrick's Day meals by Marcia...to die for!!! And Terry...the debates!

Mr. Tim was always so generous in opening up his house to us, Katie and Megan's friends. We had a chance to make so many memories thanks to this generosity, hospitality, and kindness. Prayers for the entire family!

Mr. Tim will be greatly missed. He was a great guy and always fun to hang out with and talk to. I wanted to express my deepest sympathies and condolences to the family.
