Walter Philip Chilcoat

On December 3, 2013, Walter Philip Chilcoat passed away. He was the beloved son of Kathleen M. Chilcoat and the late William P. Chilcoat; loving husband of Karen Ann Chilcoat (nee: Enste) for 41 years; devoted father of Jeremy Lucas Chilcoat and Troy William Chilcoat and his fiancé Britney Frye; dear brother of Larry William Chilcoat and his wife Darlene; cherished brother-in-law of Donald J. Enste and his wife Kathy; loving grandfather of Annabelle and Sophia Chilcoat; beloved nephew of Aunt Fran, Aunt Ruth and Aunt Ginny. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Walter was a magician since high school. He especially enjoyed performing at children's birthday parties.He enjoyed flying and was working on getting his pilots license. He also was a member of the Bel Air Corvette Club for more than 15 years and a Boy Scout troop leader for troop 235 for 10 years. Walter was also an avid train collector and he shared his loved of trains with his sons and granddaughters.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014, on Thursday December 12th at 1pm for a Memorial Service with a celebration of his life to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Institute of Health 31 Center Drive Bethesda, MD 20892 or Gilchrist Hospice Center 555 W. Towsontown Blvd Towson, MD 21014.
