William Thomas Lutz Jr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved William "Bill" Lutz Jr. on November 19, 2023. Born on July 30, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, Bill grew up in Baltimore, attended St. Anthony’s Parish, and graduated from Loyola Blakefield in 1960, and Loyola College in 1964.

Bill was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and enjoyed following the Loyola University and Boys’ Latin lacrosse teams where his sons played.

Bill leaves behind his wife, Edie, of 59 years and his three sons, Brian (wife Jaime), Mike (wife Pam), and Kevin. He also leaves behind his granddaughters, Ava, Lilly, Audrey, and Blair.

Bill was a very well respected gentleman who enjoyed spending time with his family, birdwatching, and living on the water. He was a lifelong Notre Dame football fan and a proud Loyola Don. His quick wit and dry sense of humor and will be sorely missed.

Services and interment will be private.
