Alana Marie Bodenhamer passed peacefully in the arms of her loving parents on April 25, 2012. Alana Marie was born on August 17, 2011. She touched many lives in her short eight months with her family. Her life was a brief gift to us that will live on as her heart valves were donated and received by those who were in need. Alana Marie is the daughter of William David and Michelle Senne Bodenhamer, of Overland Park, Kansas. Alana Marie is survived by one sibling, Darin Mithaniel. Her paternal grandparents are Anne and Tim Grant of Belton and William C. Bodenhamer of Blackburn; and maternal grandmother is Kathy Chapman of Overland Park, Kansas.
Memorial service for Alana will be Monday afternoon, April 30th, at 4:00 PM at McGilley George Funeral Home in Belton, MO. Family requests donations to the SMA Foundation in lieu of flowers.
