

Spike, 56, passed away July 25, 2014 at his home in Raymore, MO surrounded by his family. He was born July 13, 1958 in Jacksonville, Florida to Benjamin Eli Ridgley III, and Zoe D. Ridgley (York). Spike was an over the road trucker and drivers coach for Trans-AM for close to 9 years. He was very proud when he reached the million mile mark. Spike loved spending time outside gardening and landscaping. Since he spent a lot of time on the road, when he had home time, he loved to spend it with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father (Benjamin Eli Ridgley III) and 3 grandchildren (Lauren, Brayden, and Madison Fisher). Survivors include wife, Barbara; his mother, Zoe Ridgley; 2 brothers, Bob and Richard Ridgley; sister, Darla Garrison; children, Shauna Stallsworth, Independence MO, Benjamin Eli Ridgley V of Raytown, MO, Timothy Hardin, Kansas City KS, Angela Hardin, St. Joseph MO and Elizabeth Coluter, Kansas City MO; grandchildren, Gracie Fisher, Cash Stallsworth, Harper Ridgley, Adalyn Ridgley, Cameron Coluter, Bristol Hardin, Trinity Hardin, and Jaxsen Hardin.
Visitation 6–8 pm Tuesday, July 29 and Celebration of life at 11:00 am Wednesday, July 30, all will be held at McGilley & George Funeral Home 611 Chestnut, Belton MO. Burial will be in the Belton Cemetery. Spike’s family wishes to thank the Kansas City Hospice for all the love and care they provided in his final days.
