Clifford was born October 10, 1929 to Clifford Glenn and Alice Vaughan Wall in Kansas City, MO. At the age of four he and his parents moved to the farm south of Belton where he had lived most of his life. He was married to Vera Gene Groh on May 20, 1950.
Clifford started working for the Bendix Corp. in October 1950 and spent 27 years working there. Except for a stint in the U. S. Army where he rose to the rank of Master Sergeant during the Korean War. He was elected Union Stewart in January 1954 and realized helping others was to be a lifelong calling.
Clifford rose from Stewart to be elected president of Local 314 and later president of District 71. He was also a business agent for District 71 representing Lodges in Topeka, Salina, St Joseph and Kansas City. Clifford has been president of the Honeywell Retiree’s Club 778 for many years. He had taken on civic responsibilities as well; Sheriff Posse, member of Cass County Democratic Club and committeeman, and member of the board of PSWD #2.
Clifford accepted Christ as his savior at a young age and knew he wanted to be with those of his loved ones who had gone on ahead.
He is preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister. Those left to mourn his passing are; his wife Vera Gene Wall, sister Dorothy Yarber, and many nieces and nephews.
