

Jerry W. Middleton, 62, of Belton, MO passed away July 9, 2013. Memorial service 10:00 AM Sat. July 13 at Rock Brook Church 1617 E. 173rd St. Belton, MO. Contributions suggested to The ALS Association, 8340 Mission Rd, Ste B4 Prairie Village, KS 66206.
Jerry was born March 21, 1951 in Des Moines, IA to Albert and Geneva Wiseman Middleton. He grew up in Milton, IA and graduated from Fox Valley Community High School. Jerry earned his masters in mathematics at N.E. MO State in Kirksville. He taught math and science at North Mahaska High School in Iowa and at Archie MO High School. Jerry was a self employed truck driver and owned and operated Photo Plaque Design in Belton and designed a plaque for the USS Harry Truman Museum in Norfolk, VA and award plaques for area car shows. He attended Grandview Assembly of God. Jerry was a loving father and son with a heart of gold, strong believer in his faith, artist at heart and loved to build and create things. Recently, to fulfill his dream of missions work, sending ministry bible verses to Uganda, Africa. Our memories of you will be treasured forever in our hearts.
Preceded in death by his father in 2002. Survived by daughters, Amy Middleton, and Angie and Larry Dunn, both of Belton MO; mother, Geneva Wiseman Middleton, Milton IA; brother, Dennis and Tracy Middleton, Maple Grove MN; 3 grandchildren, Tristan, Abigail and Madelyn; nephews, Sean and Ian.
