A graveside service for the family will be Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 2:00 PM at the Belton, Missouri Cemetery.
Frances was born August 20, 1928, in Belton, MO, to Pauline and Frank Mosby. She was a graduate of Belton High School and a lifelong member of Crossroads United Methodist Church, Belton.
Frances began working for W.L. Brady Investment Company out of High School as office support and grew into the position of office accountant for the company. She continued with them for over 50 years ultimately serving as the personal secretary to Mrs. Geraldine (Gerry) Brady, the matriarch of the Brady family. She was an integral part of their family helping look after the three Brady children, William, Michael Francis, and Donna on whom she doted, in addition to supporting Mrs. Brady’s extensive volunteer work and the managing of the three households in Kansas City, Lake of the Ozarks and the 1800-acre farm in Creighton MO.
Most important to Frances was her family. She was known to spoil her two nephews, David and Douglas and the generations of nieces and nephews to follow. In her productive years she traveled with her sister, Helen, all over the country to visit family. From coast to coast and border to border they went to stay in personal contact with friends and family. She had a mind like a steel trap and never forgot a birthday, an anniversary, Easter, or Christmas with a gift or card.
Frances is survived by her sister Helen Graham of Raymore MO, two nephews, David Mosby (Dottie) of Raymore, and Douglas Mosby (Karla) of St Louis: four grandnieces and two grandnephews and three great-grand nieces and eight great-grand nephews. In addition, she is survived by her three cousins Faye Wallace of Belton and her son Greg Wallace (Sherry) of Grinnell IA, Robert Powell (Pam) of Belton and their daughter Katie Powell of Los Angeles CA and Don Powell (Ed) of Manhattan NY.
Memorials in her honor may be made to Crossroads United Methodist Church, 515 Markey Parkway, Belton, MO 64012.
