Mary Ellen Thorp Adams, 96, formerly of Belton, MO passed away November 13, 2015 in Liberty, MO. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov 18 at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Rd., Belton, with service to follow at 10 a.m. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Contributions may be made to Special Olympics or Advantage Hospice.
Mary was born January 10, 1919 in Chicago, Ill to Charles and Anna Thorp. She was a beautician and volunteered for Developed Mentally Delayed. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Fritz Adams in 2008, brother, Charles Thorp and sister, Mildred Hansen.
