I miss those days!

I'm so sorry for your loss.  Norma gave so much of herself to the girls and friends .  I spent a lot of time during school and summers in her home.  Norma was the best cook.  Biscuits, muffins and gravy.  One of my favorite memories was the Slumber Party Romania had.

My fondest memory of your mother was her holiday party mix. I can’t eat or make party mix without comparing it to hers. We never went hungry. 🤗. Neva Hoshor Allen.

To my dearest friend Norma. We have been friends through so many good times and helped each other through the bad. One of my many favorite memories is taking road trips to visit your daughters. I can’t walk into a Red Lobster without thinking of you. Every time I want to eat ice cream I think of your motto “there is always room for ice cream”. I’m so glad the last thing I got to tell you when we talked last week was how much I Loved You!

I met Norma when she worked at Belton City Hall with my mother.  If you were to say Norma was an institution within the city that would be an understatement.  Norma was a truth teller in all things in life, you knew her thoughts, her heart and her energy if you spent anytime with her.  She was a mentor, friend and second parent to many.  Norma was a talented seamstress and cook and shared they talents with countless people.  She was a friend in the truest sense of the word.  Norma’s work ethic and determination to be independent was inspiring, she lived those values to very end.  Norma will be missed but her impact will not be forgotten.   

Brenda Hendrickson Thornton with Norma in 2020 after she finished the fabric edge to make this a bandana. Thats right, still could sew and enjoyed it in her fabulous sewing room! Norma worked with my Grandma at The Grace Company. Both firecrackers with endless energy, they become fast friends with many common interests; sewing, cooking, watching grandkids. She absolutely loved being caregiver for her grandaughter. I loved popping in to visit her at Carnegie, she was the last of Grandmas friends living and I enjoyed hearing of those times so much. She was a wonderful human; kind, generous and interested in you and the world. Someone to aspire to be like for sure! At her age, she knew all her family and could recount their goings on. Amazing woman, amazing life! I will miss her, go rest in peace dear one!

I loved this woman so much. She was such a wonderfully kind person. I hope she, my mom, and grandma Kathleen are having a grand ole get together.

Normas cousin Jim Craft sends his sympathy, We had alot of good memories of her at the Craft family reunions. would like to hear from her family if possible.
