Nova Lynn Flowers

Nova Lynn Flowers, Age 6, of Kansas City, MO passed away on October 21, 2023. Nova Lynn was full of light. With her smile, she could light up a room. Nova loved riding bikes with her papa, playing dress up with her sisters, movie nights with her family, and running everywhere she went. She was known for being loud and rambunctious. She was a daddy girl through and through. She loved her sisters and brother and was a great sister to all. Nova was blessed to have two moms and loved them both dearly. Nova's whole life was flipped upside down after coming home from her mom's limping. After two months of doctor visits, her dad and bonus mom got a call that her blood work was erratic and she needed to come right in. After 16 hours of waiting a cancerous mass was found on Nova's hip. Soon after she was set up to start treatment the family found out it was in the bone marrow and spine. Nova fought everyday and never once lost her smile. She was so very brave. Her family was told there was no cure and so they spent every moment trying to give her more time. By the end, cancer had taken over Nova's body and had made its way to her brain. Her family held her hand every second of the way and loved her with everything in them. Nova turned six and got to experience her last birthday party, shortly after Nova's fight was over. She was in no pain and had her parents love her every step of the way!

Nova Lynn leaves behind three sisters (Willow, Lily, and Marley) and her brother(Jase), and her parents Jordon Flowers, Samantha Eagan and Savannah Geer who will miss her every day! Nova's family asks that bright happy colors be worn, no black as they want to celebrate her life and represent the happy girl Nova was.

A visitation for Nova will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Belton Assembly of God, 613 E. North Avenue, Belton, MO 64012, followed by a funeral at 2:30 PM.
