Scottie Mae Strough

She was the precious daughter and cherished daughter to Joshua Kenneth Strough and Contessa Pilar Rivera.

Remembered and survived by her brother Blu Karter-Atlas Kimling, age 3 year old. Grandparents, Shawn Joseph Rivera, Amanda Kathrine Rivera, Kenneth Richard Strough, and Cynthia Ann Lipp. Great grandparents, Elaine Voorhees, Judy Lentz Bennett, Richard Jacob Potts Jr., Belinda Mulholland, and Tim Mulholland. Aunts "TT's", Alyssa Jade Rivera, Rylee Lipp, Karlee Schmidt, and Makenzie Cullen. Uncle, Elijah Rivera. Great aunts and uncles, Jessica Potts, Philip Kemmerlin, Vincent King, Andi King, "Trey" Richard Jacob Potts lll, and Nicole Potts.

Scottie is predeceased by her great grandfather's Christopher Bennett, Ralph Rivera, and John King. Predeceased by her great-great aunt/ uncle Cheryl and Ron Pruitt.

Scottie Mae's time with us was shorter than anyone could ever bare to know. She lives through us with her contagious smile, giggles, bright eyes, and the most sweet energy she created. The joy she brought us and to everyone who met her will forever be remembered when we think of her. She was always such a happy presence no matter who met her and that warmth she created will remain in our hearts as we remember her.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00pm for Scottie at 400 Mill St Belton, Missouri 64012, on Saturday August, 16th,2025. The place we held Scottie's gender reveal, the place we had many happy and cherished memories with her.

Contributions may be made in Scottie's name to assist the parents Joshua Strough and Contessa Rivera at the celebration of life or via their Go Fund Me. Arrangements were made through McGilley and George Funeral Home, 611 Chestnut, Belton, Missouri 64012.
