

Warren Fred Gregory, 89, of Kansas City, Mo passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2014. He was born Feb. 1, 1925 to Fred and Mary Ellen (Clements) Gregory in Shickshinny, PA., where he grew up playing all sports in school and climbing mountains. He joined the US Navy during WW II and was on the US Moffitt destroyer ship. “Greg” was a machinist all his life, loved to garden, fix things in his garage, socializing, dancing, fishing, hunting, Chiefs and KC Royals, just to name a few. His door was always open to help others out, never wanting anything in return.
He was preceded in death by his only son Gerald (Gerry) Gregory, his former spouse Mary Mae (Jeannotte) Gregory, brothers Harvey and Ronnie. Greg is survived by his two daughters, Lynne (Sandi) Johnson, Fayetteville, Ar, and Kathryn Weakland (David) Belton, Mo; sister Marion Matak and brother Clayton both of Strongsville, Ohio; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren (one is on the way); numerous nieces, nephews and two very good friends, Jennifer and Joy.
