Wilma Lou Tippit, 78, of Belton, MO passed away October 20, 2015. Visitation 10-11 am, Mass of Christian Burial 11am, Saturday, October 24 at Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church, 13000 Bennington Ave. , Grandview, MO. Burial at 1:00, Monday, October 26 in Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, Oklahoma. Contributions are suggested to Catholic Charities or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Wilma was born October 23, 1936 in Ada Oklahoma to James and Vestie Boydston Beaver. She had lived in Belton the last 10 years and was a member of Coronation of Our Lady Catholic Church. Wilma was a finance director at ITT Technical Institute.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ken Tippit; son, Cliff Tippit; son-in-law, Richard Brown. Survived by son, Duane (Adriana ) Tippit, Arlington, TX; 4 daughters, Gail (Darrell) Whittaker, Cornville, ME; Connie (John) Bulat, Cibolo, TX; Linda (Allan) Sessions, Raymore, MO and Karen (Jeff) Fletcher, Belton, MO; daughter-in-law, Lori Tippit; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
