Anthony 'Sonny' Ferrara

Anthony ‘Sonny’ Frank Ferrara, 79, of Beverly Hills, Fl, took the Lord’s hand in the early hours of June 21, 2017. Born and raised in NY, Sonny served in the U.S. Air Force before entering the electrical trade as a burglar alarm installer/technician. Beloved husband of Sandra and dear father of Anthony, Justin (Michelle) and Nick (Laura). Cherished grandfather of Kristin, Ethan and Alex and great-grandfather of Carson and Kinsley. Sonny moved to Beverly Hills, FL in 1985, opening “Ferrara’s Italian Deli and Pizza,” which quickly became the staple destination in the lives of Italian food lovers throughout the region. He is preceded in heavily tranquility by his mother, Josephine; his father, Frank G., his sister, Anna “Dee” Valente and his brother, Gerard. He is survived by loving siblings- Bernadette Cicero, Theresa, Michael, Jay Blom (Eddie), Frank (Patti), Peter, Joseph (Laura), and MaryAnn Lerro (Victor), as well as Dixie DeHaven and Needa Allar. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was loved and will be missed by all. The viewing will be held this Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465. A Memorial Mass service will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church Monday June 26, 2017 at 10:00 am. The address is 6 Roosevelt Blvd, Beverly Hills, FL 34465.
