Barbara Jane Kaldahl

Barbara Jane Kaldahl of Lecanto, Florida was born August 25th, 1948 to parents Arthur and Hazel Hanson in Minneapolis, MN. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and attended college at the University of Minnesota.

She was one of seven children. Barbara was taught by her mother to be quite an accomplished seamstress. She also loved to travel, play golf, scuba dive, spend time with family and friends. Her happiest time that she recalled was being a stay-at-home mom to five boys! She was a successful business owner and retired young.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a baby sister, her husband, Daniel Lockler, brothers Tom and Steven, brother-in-laws Art Mitchell and Paul Winkleman. Along with Jesus, they welcomed her into Heaven November 19th, 2023.

She is survived by son Rick, wife Nicole, grandchildren Ashley, Emily, Levi, and Greta, great-grandchildren Isadora and Hardin; son Ryan, wife Keri, grandchildren Hannah, Carter, Lily, Aralynn, and Jake; stepsons Tim Lockler, wife Robby, Steven Lockler, wife Sheila; stepsons Dean, Jim, Jon Kaldahl and their respective wives; siblings Marlys, Sharon, Brian (wife Barb), and Rick; nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by so many friends and family.

Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.

There will be a receiving of family and friends on Monday December 4, 2023 from 10am until noon at Fero Funeral Home and Life Celebration Center.
