Carl F. Boos, 85 of Dunnellon, Florida died on Monday, February 9, 2015. He was born on Friday, April 26, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York to Carl Henry and Norma (Beck) Boos. Carl was a Veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #58 in Dunnellon, Florida, where he was the historian and wrote the monthly newsletter. Carl was a retired furniture designer with his company, Boos Custom Wood Working in Plainview, L.I., New York.
Carl was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Boos and sister, Dottie Adler.
Survivors include his wife of over 41 years, Corinne (Day) Boos of Dunnellon, Florida; daughter, Cathy Campbell and husband Brian of Southhold, L.I., New York; brother, Bobby Boos and wife Gerrie of Center Moriches, L.I., New York; grandchildren, Ashley Loreto and husband Tom of Cutchogue, L.I., New York and Tara Campbell of Southhold, L.I., New York; great grandson, Dean Loreto and great granddaughter, Noelle Loreto.
Memorial Service of Remembrance, Friday, February 27, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Dunnellon.
