She was born in Fostoria, Ohio on April 27th, 1942 to Charlotte Byers and Thomas Smathers and graduated from Glouster High School.
She was married to Fletcher Hammond on March of 1975.
Caroline had a career in Lazarus for Evergreen and Musical Entertainment.
She had a passion for bingo, cards, casino’s quarters, and puzzles.
Caroline is survived by her children Tina M. Cale, Bob Lewey, Kim Castle, and DaNile Lewey, their spouses Michele L., Dave C., and Glenn C., grandchildren John D., Samantha L., Dylan L., Amber H., Camey Q., Clint M., Nick C., Chelsi C., great-grandchildren Damien, Derek, Dylan D., Danle D., Dustin, Kimberly, Jared, Karletta, Christopher, Ashley, Cody, Kyle, Oliver, Elle, Brixton, Lennox, Lane, Levi, Gabriel, Autumn, Ryne, Brantley, Lawson, Elora, Layla, Jayden, Soren, and Faith, and her sisters Susie and Bob Stelzer, Bobby B., Rita Perry, and Birdie R.
She is preceded in death by Charlotte and Bob Wheeler, Chuckie, Sherri, Judy, Marilyn, Sonny, Tommy, Tina L., Wayne D., and Danicki D.
