Donald J. Higgins

Wyatt was born in September, 1947 in Dover Maine. He worked at FIU in Central Receiving. His degree was in Graphic Arts. A fun loving photographer and artist. This artist did many characters of his friends and family. He enjoyed re-enacting General George Armstrong Custer - Indiana Jones - Elliot Ness and more. His favorite was Wyatt Earp - so much so his nick name became Wyatt.

Wyatt met the love of his live in Miami at two-step country dance lessons in Miami Florida. The couple quickly became engaged (2005). When he retired in 2010 they moved to Hernando Florida. Don and Penny married in 2015 on Lake Hernando.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Penny, his son Chris, his brothers Alfred and Kevin; His Ex-wife Marcia and her daughter Beverly and grandson Shawn; Extended family Fred & Sherry and their children, Stu and Elise and their children. Don had many, many friends. Don touched many lives with his playful spirit, his ease of laughter, his love of his family and friends.

Services & Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1pm-5pm at Fero Funeral Home 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Fl 34465 (352-746-4551).
