I knew Felice during our high school years. We belonged to a brother and sister youth group. We became friends and I took her to her prom. I've always treasured that invitation and that memory.  Rest in peace dear Felice. 

Hi to All of Felice's loved ones who may read this and to Felice! I lived in the same dorm as Felice at UCONN, Shippee Hall, which you will love to hear, Felice, is where my nephew lived freshman year at UCONN. The dorm is no longer an all-girls dorm. Felice was a junior when I was a freshman and took me under her wing and treated me with so much kindness. We had so many great laughs together. I don't remember the whole history behind it, but one of us had a little poster that I think had a monkey on it, and it said something like, "when this is all over, I'm going to have a nervous breakdown. I deserve it, I owe it to myself, and nothing is going to keep me from it." We rotated who got to hang it on their door or own it, based on who most needed it at the time, particularly because of final exams! I have thought of Felice so very many times over the years and I don't know what prompted me today to see if she was on Facebook, but I checked, and saw that I had reached out to her several years back with a friend request, but it was never accepted. Reading the last post on her page, I got a very sad hint of why I likely hadn't heard from her and so went searching sadly for an obituary, which I found. Like Felice, I battled cancer, but I was fortunate enough to survive, even though cancer wreaked permanent chronic illness on my health. I share this only to convey that I understand and am saddened by all the struggles that Felice went through. While I wish her life were longer because of all the great passion and kindness she brought to the world, I am happy for her that she is at peace and no longer struggling or suffering. I believe she is with the Lord and with deceased loved ones. Much love to you, Felice, and to your loved ones who are still with us on earth! Gail Snow Moraski

Today I learned of Felice's passing she was a wonderful friend.  I have many fond memories of Felice.. I am praying for Dave and Felice's family.  Even though we lost touch after she moved to Florida.  I would think of her and Dave often..  I know that we will meet again in Heaven.

I was Felice's roommate at UConn for our 4 years of college. Although we lost touch, I often thought of her with fondness, remembering our many laughs and happy times, as well as our struggles with school work and adulthood. I was honored that Felice invited me to Worcester to dine at her home and tour her father's bakery. Her parents were strong caring people who had endured much and yet still had so much love and kindness left  for their family and friends. I am very sad to learn that Felice has passed away, but I know that the world is a better place because she was in it.

Today, I have mixed feelings...feelings of sadness because I still miss my BFF and yet feelings of joy because Felice has been in Heaven for a year. And I know that someday we'll stroll those golden streets together again as BFF's for eternity. Not only that, but we'll  both be at the feet of our 
Savior, Jesus Christ, worshiping & praising Him. I will never forget our 2-3 hour phone calls and our precious times together.  I miss you so much!

You don't know me and I haven't seen Felice since our days at UCONN.  We were sorority sisters.  I was saddend to see her listed in the memorium section of our Pi Phi magazine that arrived today.

My heart has been saddened this week as I remembered my BFF on her birthday and yet I rejoice because she celebrated her birthday in Heaven with our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. I have precious memories of the 4 of us at Easter time; having dinner together. I especially remember how she loved those pickled eggs and beets as I was preparing mine.  Miss her sooooo much.

  I had no idea of Felice's passing. I was aware that she was sick with cancer but my hope was that she would conquer the cancer. I wrote a Happy Birthday wish on Felice's facebook page on March 23rd, thinking that she was still alive. I am saddened by her passing as I now have one less cousin on this earth. 
   From all of the tributes it is obvious that Felice was a kindred spirit that loved life.. 
  We had been out of touch for many years but found each other on facebook.
   Felice & I also had many e-mail exchanges. The following was the end part of an e-mail exchange dated Friday July 2nd, 2010 sent to me by Felice >
"Have you heard that Harvey is going to be a grandfather sometime in mid-August?  Erica is carrying her first child and it is supposed to be a girl, according to the ultrasound.  Everyone is thrilled!  This will be the first grandchild for our family.  In fact, she will be the first grandchild in Erica's husband's family too... surely a golden child, right?
 
Hope all is well with you.  Keep your emails coming.  I find them to be very interesting reading.  I don't know your level of belief, but can I ask you to pray for me?  How is your brother-in-law doing?  I am sure this is all very difficult on Bluma.  I see how Dave tries so hard to be tough for me but this all takes its toll on the significant other/ caregiver. I know how much it meant to me to take care of my mother, but it also took its toll on me.  I was exhausted, emotional, sometimes quite in a frenzy, and yet, I tried to be "up" for her as much as possible.

I am a few days late, but thinking of Felice with what would have been her birthday last week-end.  Felice is still very much with me in spirit and I often indulge in and treasure my memories. Dave my thoughts continue to be with you.

Hi, Dave and family---my name is Grace -you don't know me but I went to UConn with Felice. I have very fond memories of her - she was one of my first friends at college.We met freshman year at at either a Hillel party or the dorm party in Shippee Hall. The occasion of our meeting was that I was by myself in the ladies' room trying out some dance moves (disco I think) in case a guy asked me to dance...and in walked Felice! - I was so embarrassed but we both had a good laugh and it was a point of humor from then on...we stayed friends for a couple of years, going to events together and of course commiserating over crushes! Now that my older daughter is at UConn and also getting involved in Hillel I look back and try to find out what happened to some of the folks I went to UConn with. ...I didn't expect to find an obit and I am certainly saddened that I did. It's clear Felice had a loving husband and friends and family and I just wanted to share a memory with you..

Above are pantry the artwork reads Live Laugh Love.For 16 years 1mo. and 2 days we did that.In Heaven we no longer are husband & wife! Yet we will know each other with all understanding.Until that day I will continue to Live, I will Love and try to Laugh. When you would ask me how much I Love you I would say(All my Love from here to there and back agian). Dave

I found a beautiful heart-shaped necklace in a catalog with a teardrop shaped hole in it. It is so beautiful, as Felice was to me. Here's what it said..."Since Heaven has become your home, sometimes I feel I'm so alone. And though we now are far apart, you hold a big piece of my heart. I never knew how much I'd grieve, when it was time for you to leave. Or just how much my heart would ache, from that one fragment you would take. God lets this tender hole remain, reminding me we'll meet again. And one day all the pain will cease, when He restores this missing piece.  He'll turn to joy my every tear and when I wear this necklace near it will become my special way to treasure our reunion day." I love you, Felice. You will always be in my heart!

Please accept this late entry for I have been caring for my mother, who fell. I have known the Erdman family since 1982. I have always felt a special closeness to the entire family. I hope, along with them, that Felice is resting in a better place. I'm sure she is. I always thought Felice was a beautiful woman. She will always be remembered that way by me.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Dave Tomer, but from what I heard from Felice and our mutual friend Ann Rossi, he was exactly what Felice needed in order to get through a very difficult period in both their lives.  After reading the previous entries, I was heartened to find that Felice was loved and surrounded by dear friends and family.  I knew her from high school.  Although I spoke with her a scant few times since graduation, I felt that - despite marriage, relocation, and even converting her religion - she hadn't changed all that much.  To me, she was the same sweet, caring, interesting, intelligent and gracious person who I knew more than 30 years ago.  My heart goes out to Dave and all their friends on this devastating loss.

My heart breaks with the loss of Felice. We lost a wonderful person here on earth but God has received a beautiful angel. Felice was a joy, I feel privileged to have known her, I will never forget the first mani and pedi she ever got, she was thrilled, remember David.  I think Beth and I started something.
