Hermann J. Bont, 91 of Beverly Hills, Florida died on Monday, April 16, 2012 in the loving care of his family. He was born in Austria on Tuesday, October 26, 1920 to Eduard and Alberta (Breuss) Bont. Hermann was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, the German American Club, enjoyed fixing just about anything that, needed to be repaired, traveling, cooking and was always helping his family and friends. He was a New York Times Newspaper machinist and moved to this area after retirement twenty years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Veronica Bont of Beverly Hills, Florida; son, Edward Bont and wife Pauline of Trumbull, Connecticut; daughter, Elaine Wendt and husband Michael of Wilson, New York; sister, Helga Walser of Austria and grandchildren, Stephen Wendt of Gloversville, New York, Matthew Wendt of Wilson, New York and Stephanie, Jennifer and Andrew Bont, all of Trumbull, Connecticut.
Visitation, Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace.
