Kathryn H. Matthews, from North White Plains, NY, passed peacefully on February 14th, 2023 at the age of 90 surrounded by her loved ones. Kay lived a beautiful life spent loving her family and friends. She was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her ability to make friends wherever she went, and loved talking with people, always taking time to learn about their lives. Kay was an avid bowler and enjoyed golfing, reading, singing, cooking, and knitting. She was a long time employee of Contractors Register where she made lifelong friendships.
Kay is survived by her daughters, Patricia Wright and her husband David of Keene, NH, and Jean Pardee and her husband Jeff of Dover Plains, NY, her grandchildren Nicholas Wright and his wife Stephanie, Erika Wright and her partner Tom, Danielle Troiano and fiancé, Jessie, Michael Troiano and partner Ryan and David Troiano and his wife Jordan, as well as her great grandchildren Hudson and Addison Wright. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret and Valerie and brothers Edward and Robert, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Kay is predeceased by her parents Edward and Viola Manecky and her sister Marion. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
