Linda Gloria Campbell

Linda Gloria Campbell, of Hernando, Florida Went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 19, 2013. She was born in Jamaica in 1935 to Donald and Laura (Austin) Dixon. In her younger years she grew up in Trelawney, Jamaica. After Graduating from Warsop High School she relocated with some of her older siblings to London, England where she eventually met her husband. After 25 years in England the happy family relocated and established their roots in Massachusetts. In 1993 she graduated from Massasoit College. Linda was a registered nurse for over 40 years and happily retired in 1996. She retired with her husband to Hernando, FL in 1996 from Massachusetts. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and the African American Club.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband of 53 years, Leopold Campbell of Hernando, Florida; sons, Richard Campbell of Andover, Massachusetts, Rodney Campbell of Randolph, Massachusetts and Kevin Campbell of Herndon, Virginia; brother, Lloyd Dixon of Warsop, Jamaica; sisters, Ruby Dixon of Woodbridge, Virginia, Theda Aiken of West Palm Beach, Florida and Delva Bent of Dedham, Massachusetts and grandchildren, Ariana Renee Campbell and Julia Nicole Campbell. In addition to generations of nieces and nephews, cousins and loved family members.

Visitation, Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Fero Funeral Home, 5955 N. Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, Florida 34465. Funeral Service, Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 East Norvell Bryant Highway, Hernando, Florida 34442. Entombent to follow at Fero Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 439 East Norvell Bryant Highway, Hernando, Florida 34442 In memory of Mrs. Campbell.
