Mackie Lee Sanford

He was preceded in death by: his wife, mother, father, brother and two sisters.

He is survived by daughters Melody Sanford Carson of Inglis, Florida (Winston H. Carson), Patricia P. Turcotte of Holiday, Florida (Robert Turcotte), Catherine Lee Roth of Land O’ Lakes, Florida (Timothy Roth), grandchildren Christina Carson, Andrew Roth, Heather Carson, Shelby Carson, Alexis Turcotte, Dawson Roth, great-grandchildren Braylen Morgan, Ashlyn Roth, Adelyn Roth, Mila Windsor and Aubrey Roth.

Mack proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he completed a tour in Vietnam. Mack came back to the United States, where he would marry the love of his life, Metha Nichols Sanford. They were happily married for 55 years. Upon retiring from Florida Power-Duke Energy, Mack enjoyed traveling, fishing, home-improvement projects and spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. Mack always led his family by example and showed the importance of honesty, hard work and a devotion to God. He was a fierce protector of those he loved and was there for his friends and family, whenever they needed him, day or night. His legacy will forever live on through the countless lives he touched and the lessons he taught. He will be missed dearly.

Services will be held at Fero Funeral Home at 5955 N Lecanto Hwy, Beverly Hills, FL on Friday August 16th at 11:30. Graveside services to follow at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue Bushnell, FL.
