Marie E. McKnight, 93, passed away on July 27, 2012 at her residence. A native of New York, NY, she was born June 24, 1919 to Nicholas and Angela (Pellarin) Bortoli, one of two children. Marie’s professional life carried her to a career as a bank teller with Chase Manhattan Bank in Manhattan with whom she served 27 years. She moved here in 1980 from Belle Harbor, NY and was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Citrus Springs, where she also served on St. Elizabeth’s Womens Guild. Mrs. McKnight is survived by her son Robert H. McKnight (Karen), Belle Harbor, NY and two grandchildren; Robert A. McKnight (Terri Ann) and Toni Ann Libassi (Carmon); several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh McKnight and a brother, Rene Bortoli. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., Aug. 1st at 11:00 A.M. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Citrus Springs with Fr. Charles Leke, Celebrant with interment following at Fero Memorial Gardens, Beverly Hills.
