A native of the Bronx, N.Y., she was born Jan. 15, 1921. Mary was a lifelong homemaker, bookkeeper and salesperson and moved here six years ago from Long Island, N.Y. Mary loved to read romantic novels in her spare time and also loved chocolate.
She is survived by her children, Carol and Chris Winterbottom of Beverly Hills and Nancy and Kurt Nelson of Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Carrington. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at Fero Funeral Home, Beverly Hills. Interment will follow Thursday, Sept. 12, at Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island.
