Mary Lou Rothenbohl

Mary Lou Rothenbohl, 84, of Loudon, TN and formerly of Crystal River and Beverly Hills, FL, passed away on Aug. 8, 2025 at NHC Farragut Nursing Home in Farragut, TN. A native of New York, NY, she was born Aug. 11, 1940 to Joe and Mary Jane Kranker, one of four children. She moved to the Knoxville, TN area from Citrus County, FL four years ago and was of the Roman Catholic faith. While in Crystal River, FL, Mary Lou was the Past President of both the Crystal River Greater Federation of Women's Club and the Garden Club of Crystal River. While in Tennessee, she was a member of the Tellico Village Greater Federation of Women's Club. While in Tennessee, Mary Lou loved to shop, was involved in many card groups playing several times a week, and also enjoyed her Bunco group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Rothenbohl, and a sister, Jo Ann Mullen. She is survived by her daughter, Meg Stutz (and much loved son-in-law Otto), Loudon, TN; grandchildren Mark Bowden, Evington, VA; Tyler Bowden, Chesapeake, VA and Jimmy Stutz, also of Chesapeake, VA; siblings Peter Kranker (wife Julie), Citrus Hills, FL; Jay Kranker, Palm Desert, CA; brother-in-law Marc Mullen, Apple Valley, CA and one niece and several nephews. A Celebration of Life & Catholic Prayer Service will be held on Sat., Aug. 16, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. in the Grand Oaks Room of Fero Funeral Home, 5955 North Lecanto Highway, Beverly Hills, FL 34465 with Deacon Mark Manko officiating.
