

Pat was born on March 9, 1942 in Hammond, Indiana to Edward and Ruth (Couchot) Conlon. She was married to Harry Thomas Gant on October 9, 1965 at the Saint Bosco Church in Hammond, Indiana. Pat earned her Diploma of Nursing from the Evanston Hospital School of Nursing which was affiliated with Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse at the Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Illinois and the Cushing Memorial Hospital in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. In continuation of her medical service, she later served as President of the Auxiliary at Saint Mary’s Medical Center in Racine, Wisconsin. Pat was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Racine. When Pat moved to Pine Ridge Estates in Beverly Hills, she became a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was well known for wearing her red cardinal shirt to Sunday mass; she loved birds, dogs and always saw the best in people.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ruth Conlon. She is survived by her husband, Harry Gant, her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Tina Gant and her two grandsons, Stephen and Jonathan Gant.
Visitation will be at the Fero Funeral Home, 5955 North Lecanto Highway in Beverly Hills from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 31, 2016. The funeral mass will be at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 6 Roosevelt Boulevard in Beverly Hills at 9:30 am on Monday, August 1, 2016. Reception to follow the service at the Fero Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
